It’s been a little over two years at Fintuple where we are at the early stages of building out the vision of constructing the infrastructure layer for the asset management industry. The infrastructure layer has multiple attributes to it, if it has to be built at a holistic level - data, onboarding, CRM & marketing, transactions, attribution, portfolio analytics and rebalancing. We saw a whitespace here and decided to build this infrastructure ground up through our own product suite. The asset management industry is diverse across asset classes, and each business / product had varying problem statements. We began our journey by solving the problem for the alternate industry in India to begin with.
In 2019, our endeavour was to make available the data for the industry to distributors, RMs, and the AMCs themselves to analyse the data and performance of PMS funds. This was translated through the launch of our three products - iQ, Fs, and Fi.
Over the past year, Fintuple has evolved into a product company, through the evolution of building out the onboarding layer for the PMS industry to make the investment journey easy for our partners and clients.
With the advent of the pandemic, many domains underwent a digital transformation, and so did the investment cycle. Fintuple’s On+, a digital onboarding solution for alternate funds has completely digitised the end-to-end investment lifecycle for alternates. This has transformed the investment process that would generally take 30-40 days to complete to be done within a matter of hours.
